The 2014 NDS Gala took place on the evening of Saturday, October 11. Hundreds of supporters came to the seminary for an evening of food, music, and camaraderie. Guests flooded the well decorated hallways, dining room, community room, and classrooms, making their way between auction tables, dining, music, desserts, and even a space to catch the LSU game. The event ended in the Marian courtyard with the live auction.
The gala is Notre Dame’s largest fundraising event of the year and is made possible by the dedicated support of many volunteers. All the seminarians also assume various roles in helping the evening to run smoothly. The number of donated items from local businesses and friends of the seminary contribute to the tremendous success of the gala. After a week of set up and about an hour of clean up, the seminary looked back to normal by the following morning.
