For nearly 30 years, the first year theologians participate in a mission trip shortly before Christmas to learn more about the Church Universal in different cultures. In recent years, the mission trip takes place in Nicaragua where seminarians visit an orphanage, assist in upgrading homes, and visit health care facilities.
