Mario Sacasa, Ed.S., LMFT
Mario Sacasa is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern with the State of Louisiana and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida. He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Florida State University. He graduated with a Combined Master’s in Science and Educational Specialist Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Mr. Sacasa has made a career of integrating the Church’s anthropology and spirituality into sound clinical practice. Prior to moving to New Orleans, he operated a private counseling practice in Tallahassee, FL focusing on sexuality and marital difficulties. He has delivered numerous retreats and lectures, applying the Theology of the Body to present day marital issues. He has also conducted retreats on men’s spirituality.
Presently, Mr. Sacasa serves as the Director of the Catholic Counseling Service through the Family Life Apostolate of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. He also offers his counseling services to the seminarians of Notre Dame Seminary and St Joseph’s Abbey and Seminary College.
