Every Friday the seminarians hear presentations from the faculty regarding differing aspects of pastoral ministry and areas of priestly formation that are pertinent to their discernment. These conferences are drawn from the governing documents of the Church on priestly formation as well as the pastoral trends seen in the Church today. The rector delivers community-wide conferences three times each semester reflecting on the theology and pastoral implications of the new evangelization. The recent conference, which one can listen to under the Rector’s Corner, addresses the theme of “mercy” as the Church prepares for Jubilee on Mercy.
