As NDS completed its 92nd year of mission in preparing future priests for the Church and qualified lay/religious leaders, the seminary community saluted the 4th year seminarians who are completing their formation. The evening of farewell began with Solemn Vespers in which the ordinandi praised and thanked God for their time of formation and preparation for pastoral ministry. Following prayer, the community enjoyed appetizers and hospitality prepared by our outstanding kitchen staff. We all then enjoyed a New Orleans’ local cuisine meal. The seminarians toasted the ordinandi, presentations were made, the class offered their gift to the seminary, and each ordinandi was presented a gift by the rector – NDS cufflinks. AS we salute these men, we begin now to prepare for a new class of nearly 40 men. God does Provide!
