NDS Community Celebrates Presentation and Anniversary of Priesthood Ordination

Thursday of last week, February 2, the Notre Dame Seminary community celebrated the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. Priest, faculty, staff, seminarians, guest, and a group of young altar servers from St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church gathered in front of Notre Dame Seminary to begin the celebration of the feast and then processed into the chapel with candles in hand. The day also marked another special celebration, the 60th anniversary of ordination to priesthood for Father David Kelly, MM, a priest and professor of moral theology at NDS who was ordained a priest in Boston in 1957. After the celebration of the Mass, the seminary community enjoyed a special dinner for Father Kelly’s anniversary of ordination.
