NDS Celebrates 100th Anniversary of Fatima with Rosary at Rock ‘N’ Bowl

Although most of the seminarians departed for the summer after graduation, over 25 seminarians commemorated the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima on May 13, the 100^th anniversary of the start of apparitions to the shepherd children in Fatima. The seminarians and rector led a Rosary Procession with the statue of Our Lady of Fatima through our local neighborhood. The owners of Ye Olde College Inn and Rock ‘N’ Bowl hosted the procession with a breakfast that followed. On the 100th anniversary, Pope Francis canonized two visionaries – Saint Francisco and Saint Jacinta – two of three children Our Lady of Fatima appeared to on May 13. May the new saints intercede for our human race as the Church continues to proclaim the Gospel of Christ.
