NDS Hosts NCDVD

Notre Dame Seminary hosted over 300 vocation directors who were in New Orleans for the annual National Conference of Diocesan Vocation Directors (NCDVD) for Mass and an evening reception. Each year the NCDVD convenes vocation directors for a convention to study various aspects of priestly vocations and to offer support for vocation directors. Notre Dame Seminary welcomed the vocation directors for a Mass that was celebrated by the chancellor of the seminary, Archbishop Gregory Aymond, at Saint Rita Church, where the parish and seminary have partnered for pastoral ministry. Our rector, Father Wehner, greeted the vocation directors at Mass, explaining the unique partnership that benefits the formation of future pastors while also providing pastoral support to the local parish. The participants were then bused over to the seminary where the seminarians hosted a reception along with tours. May the Lord continue to bless the ministry of priestly vocations and all those who are entrusted with the care of priestly vocations.
