The members of Legatus joined NDS for Mass followed by dinner at Rock ‘N’ Bowl on September 25. Archbishop Gregory Aymond was the celebrant for Mass, and in his homily, he challenged the community to be attentive to Jesus’ word to them personally amidst the busyness and particular circumstances of their lives—concretely by spending time with him in daily prayer. Following Mass, the community met across the Street at Rock ‘N’ Bowl for dinner and reflections on the importance and continuing relevance of priestly celibacy given by Peter Vale, Kevin Kolker, and David Lee. Each Legate couple was given a few seminarians for whom to pray throughout the year, and the seminarians also pledged to pray for their prayer partners. NDS is grateful for the continuing support of Legatus as well as for their witness to Christ in the workplace and in their families throughout New Orleans.
