Commencement 2019

On Thursday, May 9, 2019, Notre Dame Seminary held its annual baccalaureate Mass and commencement exercises. Fr. James Wehner presided, and Fr. Adam Urbaniak, the vocation director for the diocese of Biloxi, was the homilist. In the commencement exercises, Fr. David Kelly received an honorary Doctorate of Letters for his leadership in the seminary, particularly in his commitment to providing the best possible formation to future priests through the classes he teaches, spiritual direction, and his living witness. Also, His Excellency Archbishop Gregory Aymond was recognized for his 10 years of ministry within the archdiocese. In total, over 60 lay and seminarian graduates earned degrees in philosophy and theology. We warmly congratulate our graduates, especially those who are preparing for ordination in the coming weeks.
