Christmas Luncheon for Priests

On Tuesday, December 3rd, over 900 supporters of Notre Dame Seminary gathered for the annual Christmas Luncheon for Priests. The day began with Mass at Immaculate Conception Church followed by a reception and luncheon across the street at The Roosevelt Hotel. To kick off the festive fundraiser, guests were able to admire holiday decorations while shopping at boutique vendors around the reception room. Following the reception, the Very Rev. James Wehner, Rector/President, welcomed guests and offered words of gratitude for the support they give to Notre Dame Seminary. Fr. Wehner shared how support to Notre Dame Seminary allows the seminary to continue to grow and offer the best formation the Church has to offer.

Fr. Wehner also recognized Mrs. Patricia Hron as the 2019 Honorary Chairperson and thanked her for her tremendous gift of service and commitment to the mission of Notre Dame Seminary. The seminary community also offered a gift of gratitude to Mrs. Gayle Benson, the 2019 Event Sponsor.

The funds raised from the Christmas Luncheon for Priests support the various programs of priestly formation at NDS. Notre Dame Seminary strives to prepare missionary priests for the new evangelization—priests who are courageous yet compassionate, faithful yet pastoral, holy yet happy. The success of the Christmas Luncheon for Priests allows Notre Dame Seminary to continue to form faithful Priests of Jesus Christ.
