Notre Dame Seminary recently celebrated the 9th Annual Eucharistic Day which included Holy Mass, a Eucharistic Procession throughout the seminary campus, afternoon Adoration, Solemn Vespers, and Benediction. The evening concluded with a Thanksgiving Dinner in which toasts and salutes were offered and the solemn reading of the first Thanksgiving Day Proclamation by George Washington. The Eucharistic Day was offered for those struggling with faith and health, those experiencing desolation due to the pandemic, world events, and the divisions we see both in the Church and in the world. Eucharistic Spirituality is the foundation for all priestly spirituality and forms the basis for all Christians as evangelizers. Our banquet reminded us to be ever grateful for our benefactors who make priestly formation possible at Notre Dame Seminary.
