Every Tuesday, the seminary community prays the Rosary for the intentions of our Holy Father, the bishops and dioceses, parishes, organizations, ministries and apostolates, and for the intentions of our seminarians. The last community Rosary was prayed on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception at the historic Rock N Bowl across the street from the seminary. Deborah and John Blancher, owners, erected a Marian Altar (as they do each year) for devotion to Our Lady. The whole facility was enthroned to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary several years ago. The prayer was an opportunity to highlight the relationship between culture and faith, something very rich here in New Orleans. May Our Lady continue to intercede for the Church and world as this year comes to a close.
