On November 14, 2021, Notre Dame Seminary co-sponsored a Catholic Art Showcase with the newly founded St. Louis IX Art Society. The event welcomed the local South Louisiana community to NDS in order to meet local Catholic artists and view and appreciate their faith-inspiring work. At the event, over 200 people came to view local artists’ work. Fr. John Brown SJ opened the afternoon with prayer, Professor Jordan Haddad gave a presentation on Catholicism and Art, and Abigail Reller led a panel of St. Louis IX Art Society artists.
