During Orientation Week, we welcomed 35 new seminarians from 15 different dioceses to Notre Dame Seminary! Throughout the week, our new seminarians had the opportunity to explore the rich history and culture of New Orleans as they toured historic churches, visited the Shrine of Blessed Seelos, and attended conferences on the different aspects of formation. They also enjoyed some time getting to know one another with a night of bowling at Rock ’N’ Bowl and, in true Louisiana fashion, a swamp tour!
We are excited to welcome these men to the NDS community and look forward to accompanying them as they begin this next chapter of their journey toward the priesthood. These men are either beginning the Discipleship Stage of formation or entering the Configuration Stage as they continue to grow in their relationship with Christ and prepare to serve His Church.
