On Friday, September 18th, seminarians and faculty gathered together to participate in the Oktoberfest celebration on the seminary grounds. Most of the events took place by the pool, where food was served and games were played. Ever since Fr. Jim Wehner, rector/president of NDS, brought the German tradition to the seminary seminarians have enjoyed the annual night of food, fun, and fellowship. It is customary for attendees to dress accordingly for the iconic Western European celebration.
