On Friday, April 27, NDS hosted a farewell luncheon for our departing faculty: Dr. Mario Sacasa, Dr. Christopher Baglow, Dr. Brant Pitre, and Fr. Joseph Palermo. A student made a tribute to each faculty member expressing his gratitude and that of the community. The faculty were each presented with a statue of St. Joseph in gratitude for their service, and then each of them gave a final statement of gratitude and exhortation. Each of them has made a mark on the present community present and has reached thousands of souls by helping to form priests who serve throughout the Gulf South. Fr. Dr. Joseph Krafft was also presented with his doctoral robes in honor of his earning his Doctor of Ministry degree.
