Christmas Luncheon 2021

After two years, we were once again able to host the annual Christmas Luncheon on November 29. The event began with the celebration of Holy Mass at the historic, Jesuit Church – the Immaculate Conception Church located in downtown New Orleans. Nearly 600 people attended the Mass. The seminary’s schola led the congregation of song and chant. The rector was the celebrant and homilist for the Mass with nearly 20 priests concelebrating. Following Mass, the reception and lunch was hosted at the famed Roosevelt Hotel in which we welcomed over 750 guests – the second largest in the 15 year history of the event. Mrs. Gayle Benson, owner of the New Orleans NFL Saints and the NBA Pelicans served the Event Sponsor. As we do each year, we salute and honor an honorary chair who has demonstrated outstanding support of the seminary as well as other ministries in the life of the Church. This year we honored Mrs. Allison Talley for her many years of service to NDS a commited volunteer. The lunch concluded with the seminarians chanting the Salve Regina. We thank all those who were able to support this event.
