On March 30, 2023, Archbishop Christophe Pierre, the apostolic nuncio to the United States, visited Notre Dame Seminary and celebrated Mass for the community. An Apostolic Nuncio is a personal representative of the Pope who serves as the Vatican’s ambassador to a particular country or group of countries. The Nuncio has two main functions: one relating within the Church, the other relating with States. It was a blessing to welcome Archbishop Pierre to Notre Dame Seminary!
