Legatus Mass and Dinner

On September 26th, the New Orleans Legatus Chapter hosted the seminary community for Mass and Dinner. The evening began with a Rosary and Mass at Notre Dame Seminary. After Mass, Legatus members and seminarians made their way over to Rock’n’Bowl for dinner. During the dinner, three seminarians spoke about their vocation stories. Aeli Poydras, from the Diocese of Baton Rouge, spoke about discerning his vocation later in life; Peter Whitfield, from the Diocese of Dallas, spoke about his time serving a Pastoral Year in his home diocese; and Ethan Henry, from the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, spoke about his propaedeutic year living in the discernment house in his home diocese.

The relationship involves the “prayer partner” program in which Legatus members are assigned seminarians to pray for and the seminarian, in turn, for the Legatus members. Thank you to New Orleans Legatus Chapter for your support of our seminarians and our mission!
