On Tuesday, October 8th, the seminary community processed from the seminary across Carrollton Avenue to the Ye Olde College Inn Gardens to pray a public rosary in commemoration of the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, liturgically celebrated the previous day. We also prayed Vespers, following the rosary, for the intentions of the local community. This feast was inaugurated by St. Pope Pius V in thanksgiving for the Christian victory at the battle of Lepanto, fought on October 7th 1571. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
