Following Hurricane Ida, all of the seminarians returned to campus by Sunday, September 12th. The Notre Dame Seminary community spent this day in prayer and recollection. The community participated in a Eucharistic procession around campus in order to bless the campus as well as the city of New Orleans. The Rector and other faculty members gave presentations for the returning seminarians. We concluded the day with solemn vespers and an evening of silence. Classes resumed on Monday, September 13th.
