Fr. David Kelly Farewell Mass

On Monday, April 29th, the Notre Dame Seminary community of seminarians, faculty, and staff gathered for Mass to celebrate the years of ministry and spiritual fatherhood that Fr. David Kelly has given to the seminary.

Fr. Kelly, who has been a professor and spiritual director at NDS since 2008, will be completing his time with us this summer. Fr. Kelly will be going to Chicago to be a spiritual director for the Maryknoll brothers and assist in their formation.

Ordained to the priesthood in 1957, Fr. Kelly has served the Church for 67 years, and we are grateful for the 15 years he has spent here at NDS! He has been a devoted and exemplary member of our seminary faculty, and his dedication and unwavering commitment to the formation of our seminarians is invaluable to the Church. We thank you, Fr. Kelly, for your ministry here at Notre Dame Seminary, and you will be greatly missed! Please keep Fr. Kelly in your prayers!
